Safety and Security film can help prevent injuries and costly property damage caused by shattered broken glass. When glass breaks upon impact, shards of flying glass become hazardous and in severe cases inflict life threatening wounds. Safety and security window films are available in several thicknesses and are designed to hold broken glass together. These security and safety window films act like a net by adhering to broken glass which helps prevent the shower of flying glass that normally occurs when unprotected glass is broken. These protective films are effective in mitigating damage caused by accidental breakage, forced entry, severe weather, industrial accidents, earthquakes and bomb blasts.

Crime Deterrent

Security window films can provide extra protection against smash and grab style crimes by creating an additional barrier that can make breaking through the glass take longer. Gaining entry is more difficult because the broken glass clings to the window film and often stays in the frame or only allows partial breakage.
